shoot-out fest, videoke blues with the down south chicas :)

I went out with gen and carmen aka down south chicas in southmall last wednesday. :)  Pent-up emotions must be released before school starts. Mahirap baka madamay ang thesis! So we had that gimmick to get rid of all the negative vibe we had for this summer. :)

Si carmen wala naman talagang drama sa buhay pero dahil malapit din sya sinama namin para bonding. Baka umiyak galore kami ni gen kung wala siya. haha! So siyempre na-late ang call time.*ehem, ehem* haha!

Kumain muna kami para may lakas bago sumabak sa shoot-out. We went to storyland to shoot some hoops but it was freakin' jampacked! So we went to the other arcade palce. Ayun nangalay mga braso namin kakatira! It was soooooooo great. :) fun,fun talaga. Pinagkaisahan namin si carmen kung sino talo sa shoot-out libre ng ice candy. Sure bid na libre kami eh. haha! Anyabang! ;P

After being exhausted, we decided to take a stroll. Then, videoke blues. Usapan talaga isang kanta lang akin kaso brutal si gen ginawang dalawa! Mind you, mga pang-sawi pa talaga yung songs ko! So our mission's complete. No more drama gen ha. :) 'til then... :)

Over the weekend, I was out with kath and nicole plus a lot of other youth in Batangas. :)  tuki's been inviting us for the longest time. It was just last weekend na napagbigy na namin siya.

It was fun with games to make us busy all day. :) At first, I had a hard time making new friends (like I always do), coz I think they thought I was a snob. Truth was I was not feeling well. It's that time of the month.

When it eased up, I started conversations and everything was a breeze. I remember when I attended a youth camp in 2003. I was totally alone. It was the same. Not the loner thingy ha. The activities and all.

It was a time to reflect, give thanks and praise God for EVERYTHING. :) Okay, I think brows are starting to raise now with what I'm saying here. Di lang halata, but I can say that I am quite religious. I wouldn't tell you what I do 'coz really there's no reason to and you might just think I'm kidding. Anyway, many are called and few are chosen was what my mum told me during my first youth camp a few years back. I've been called again and I just miss that. :)

The tribe where I belong, finished fourth. :)  But hey, we won the relay game. ;)  It was no easy task doing that one. So kami panalo. kidding! bitter? Well, that wasn't about winning but rather making new friends (I did!) and knowing God in a deeper level. So thanks tuki for the opportunity. :) Praise the Lord. I hope to have more of that. 'til then... :)

My summer's worth it :)

*This blog's been long overdue but I still want to post it so the hell you care.haha! Due to tamditis, distractions, gimmicks left and right, I wasn't able to post it on time. So here goes...*

May 22, I woke up pretty early to go to qtie's pad, we were meeting there for our outing in talisay, batangas. Wilson's a member of this resort club there so we had access to the place. We arrived there considerably early! Like it was just 8am. The place wasn't even ready for the guests.

Anyway, we just had breakfast (chips, sandwhiches and whatever that was edible!) and checked out the place while we wait for our room.  When the pool was clean for swimming, we hastily changed into our swimming garments and plunged. :)

Basically, it was a great get-away from all the pollution the metro has to offer.  We had the place to ourselves until the afternoon when other guests came. There were other recreations like a basketball court, mountain bikes, billiards.

The boys drank a bit during the afternoon when everybody else were sleeping. They dont' give a damn with their conversations too. Bahala na ang magising! It was unfortunate of me that I was awoken by bestfriend! He pulled me out of my comfort zone aka bed and gave me a drink! It was like 2pm man! Ano 'to sunog baga?

After our siesta, we plunged in the pool again and did a lot of other stuff. :) I feel romance in the air. awesome.haha! We had our dinner in kfc and jollibee. Magastos kasi sa resort.

After dinner, we (bestfriend and I) pulled a prank on whoever steps in first in the room would be surprised! Kawawa naman si qtie sya yung natapat. Gulat sya eh. hahaha!

We had our inuman session and man a lot got smashed that night. :S Myself included and I had another session of dramarama. Kasi naman ang kulit nila. Anyway, it was one heck of an outing. I just felt bad not everyone was able to go with us. :( I'm sooo sorry guys. Next time sana lahat na tayo.

We left the next day and chilled in town for a bit. Then proceeded to driver's place to have another session. whew! Inom kung inom lang eh. 'til then... :)

May 22-23, we went to taal view heights buena vista at talisay batangas care of wilson. He's a member there so that. some pics were not posted on my page or it would look like somebody else's. more like inna's!!!so un...

Uwian na

We spent the last day, doing our last minute shopping in the mall and grabbed some lunch there.  Medyo late kami nagising kasi wala ng agenda.  Umuulan rin kaya kahit gusto naming lumayo mahirap din.  Over-all, I LOVE, LOVE our trip.  We opted to go to other places rather than Disneyland.  Aside from the fact na kakain yun ng maraming pera eh hindi rin talaga kami thrilled pumunta. Yung ocean park naman di na namin nasingit nung sunday.  ‘Di bale, may next time pa naman…next week??kidding! So there, my summer’s worthwhile. ;) ‘til my next trip…

Tour kung tour

We woke up early again to prepare for Church.  Na-late kami.  Buti english yung misa.  Madami ring Chinese Catholics, nakakatuwa.  Makikita mo rin yung mga pinoy dahil may isang wing na puro pinoy.

After mass, we went back to kowloon tong, took the train to central.  Pinoy-infested ang central lalo na at sunday nun.  We went to repulse bay,  the most visited beach.  Finally, nakapag-beach na rin ako. ;P  But nothing beats Philippines’ beaches. :) Talagang inenjoy ko yung moment.  Nung nagshower kami ni ate after, nagulantang ang mga buhay namin!BIG TIME!!!Public shower kasi yun at merong matandang hukluban na shower galore bare-naked!  As in kahit anong gawin mo eh makikita mo!=S  After that, we went to Stanley.  We had lunch in a Chinese restaurant then set off in Stanley market.  Variety of things were sold there and it was hard to decide what to buy.  haha!

After enjoying the sight and shopping, we went back to central to catch another bus that will go to the peak.  The whole of Hong Kong is in view. Nalula ako ng todo! :S We were supposed to take the tram or view it from the topmost floor but I didn’t want to pay for something that will scare the sh*t out of  me!  Suicide yun.  Eh kahit libre yun ‘di talaga! Mababaliw lang ako!

 We grabbed our dinner in burger king. Picture galore all over the place.  Ang layo nun from where we stayed eh.  After a tiring day, we called it a day.

lutong Macau

We woke up early next day for our trip to Macau.  We took the train then walked a thousand miles (ang layo kasi talaga nung nilakad namin!) for the ferry.  Oh my gosh!  I almost got seasick so I just slept for the rest of the trip.

We finally arrived in Macau. J  It was awesome, a beautiful sight.  We went to Venetian.  It’s casino, hotel and mall rolled into one.  We had some casino experience.  Galey!  Hinarang pa ko ng nakakatakot na security on our way there kasi akala niya minor ako!  “She doesn’t look like 18…”  I showed him my university id but still, he was not convinced.  So we showed him my passport.  I pointed the year I was born, 1988.  Natawa na lang yung mokong eh! Ang daming pinoy dun and the crew from pizza pizza looked like a foreigner na gwpaing, yun pala pinoy! Sabi ko kay ate do the wink, wink eh! haha!

The only drawback is people DO NOT speak english.  I can seriously say that I can count those who speak english with my fingers.  For example:  “Excuse me…” then the person you’re talking to would have this wild hand gesture and say “no, no!”  Anak ng tipaklong!  Ang pinakamalupit pa walang mga street names tapos naligaw pa kami!!!  Tempers were running high between my mum  and sister so I had to play referee. I kept my cool and started to take the reigns.  Salamat, salamat at nakita rin namin ang hinahanap namin. J  It was worth all the mixed emotions we had.

We toured the Ruins of St. Paul and the temple nearby.  Madaming pinoy sa parteng yun so sa kanila na kami nagtanong.  Nakakapagod ang pag-akyat sa ruins. Sana nag-rubber shoes ako.  We went shopping there tapos bumalik na sa ferry terminal.  The trip back home was faster.  We grabbed some late dinner take-out in the mall then back home.  Tulog, kasi maaga for the next day.

holy kamote for HK!

Prologue:  You are about to read my three and a half days’ worth of summer holidays in a foreign land. It’s been a decade since I last flew outside the country. You can tell how excited I am. I decided to have three blogs to make it short rather than one looooooooong blog.

May 16, the Valencia gals (mum, ate and i) woke up at around 4am to prepare for our flight to Hong Kong. J  I wasn’t able to get some decent sleep ‘coz I was on my vampire mode plus the excitement that was coursing through me. =)  I only slept for two hours. Oh well.  We left at 5.30am and headed for the airport.  We waited if we could make it for the first flight ‘coz they said it was full.  My mum asked everyone she knew for assistance and with so much luck, we made it and were even upgraded to business class. Coooool! J We stayed in the mabuhay lounge while waiting for our flight.  Yummy breakfast.

It was time for our boarding so we went first.  Jahe pa kasi sobrang nagmamadali si mum so hinahabol namin ni ate habang hinihila ang dakilang mga trolley bags namin!  Eh may pretty boy dun na na-harrass ko kasi nasagasaan ko yung paa nya tapos nabangga pa siya ni ate. haaaay!  To make matters worse (or better?), he was behind mum’s seat. Oh my gulay! J

Thankfully, the food tasted good (it should be!) and I survived the trip without being airsick.  We arrived in the airport and took the train going to kowloon tong but got lost on the way there.  My uncle (mum’s cousin) had a place there and was sooooo generous to lend it to us.  He’s a professor in a university there.  Gusto ko nga sana pabasa yung thesis namin kaso feeling ko nosebleed pag nag-explain siya. haha! Bow down to all his accomplishments.  J

We had lunch with him in the university restaurant.  Chinese cuisine baby.  We were so full and after that, we toured the university.  Nalungkot ako kasi yung university nila parang equal to UP dito.  No offense meant to UP pero ang layo ng facilities nila with the City University of Hong Kong.  Alaga yung paaralan eh dito olats.  It all boils down to the kind of government we have.  Napaka- progressive ng Hong Kong. 

After lunch we headed back to my uncle’s place, dropped off our leftovers and bought stuff in Mong Kok.  The cab drivers are pretty bad. haha!  Pa’no naman kasi liko galore sila kala mo mga drifters eh!  Ganun talaga sila mag-drive, barubal! haha!

It was a long day and then we had dinner in kfc in the nearby mall, festival walk.  It was walking distance from our place.  Nakakapagod yung first day namin but super fun. J  The house  was full of books and I grabbed the alchemist to read.  Finally, I dozed off ad woke up for another adventure.

Battle of Davids

I was pretty occupied with other stuff last week, so I wasn’t able to do this blog on time.  Anyway, American Idol is coming to a close this week and it’s down to david archuleta and david cook.

I’m sure you all have your bets so go cheer for them. Personally, both are deserving for the title but only one has to win.  Either way, you get the title but both have the shot to make their dreams come alive. =)  But I feel that cook would bag the idol title.  He has more of that “star” quality than archuleta.  And let’s admit it, the guy’s got talent.  archuleta on the other hand, has more to show.  The boy’s only 17 and has more up his sleeve, give it some time. =)  He’s soooooooo adorable.  He even gets shy with all the attention, how cute is that?

 So whoever wins this thursday (phil. time), is just but great. =)  It’s a win-win situation.  So go davids! ;) Impress the crowd with your awesome voices! =) ‘til then…

Kath’s 20th birthday celebration =)

She had another celebration and this time on her exact birthday.  =)  It was for her mum’s friends and friends who weren’t in the saturday partey.  So what the heck is dawn, ton and I doing there?  haha! naimbitahan lang ulit, jahe naman kay tita.

Food was overwhelming.  =)  yumyum! Kath got a surprise from her great roomies iyah and janelle. =)  Dumayo rin sila mae, maike, mario, chris (or cris?), jeff, pat and simon. J  Salamat, salamat sa pagpunta.  Next time sakin naman ha. =) Drinks were pouring in at ang magaling kong bestfriend eh binigyan ako. Haaay!  Effort ubusin yun. =S

Kath (qtie), you’re old.  haha! ‘Di ka na teen.  Pa’no ba yan ate kath? haha!  Thanks for the wonderful friendship through the years.  J  ‘til then…

You know I’d walk that thousand miles…

Yesterday, I had a date with my mum.  It was mothers’ day so we went out.  It was nothing fancy or what, just in the mall.  We were supposed to have pasta for dinner but due to some time constraints we’ll have it later instead.

We watched vanessa carlton perform in town. J I super love her.  I like listening to her songs and my favorite would be thousand miles.  I’m pretty sure you know that track since it was her first song plus it has this marlboro sound in it. haha!  It also played in white chicks with latrell crying ‘coz that was his favorite song daw. haha!  I watched that flick with baru right after our dlsu exam. L  Talagang nakipagsiksikan ako kasi na-late kami ng konti ni mum.

She was awesome. J I like that she plays the piano, one frustration I still deal with.  People were enjoying her.  Too bad I didn’t insist in bringing mum’s fone.  She doesn’t need it naman daw and I didn’t borrow the gigicam from ate.  So I didn’t have any photos of her performing.  Sad but all good.  At least I saw her perform and just loved it!

Thousand miles is my favorite song for all my fellas and cousins who are far away from me.  I got teary-eyed while she was playing it.  I missed all of them all over again. haaay!  Shout-out to baru, titan and yzuelte.  “If I could fall into the sky, do you think time would pass me by? ‘Coz you know I’d walk a thousand miles if I could just see you tonight…”  You know that right?? 

After she played thousand miles, which was like the ninth song, we left.  I heard her sing pretty baby, white houses and a whole lot more. J  We went to a nearby Church to hear a Mass.  After that, we went to the grocery to buy the pasta ingredients and went home. We had a different dinner but was still yummy! J ‘til then…

This is the life ;)

I’ve been ranting almost the whole week about what a waste my summer is turning into.  I finally got the best answer last saturday.  kath (qtie) and dawn threw a partey to celebrate their birthdays. J They are our may celebrants.

It took them only two days to get everything for the event.  They had a general cleaning last friday and the party was the next day.  That only goes to show that if something wants to be done, it can be done as long as you put effort in it.

No one lives in that house since dawn moved in to her gran’s place.  I guess the resident ghosts got the biggest shock with our rowdiness. hahaha!  The house was still a bit of a mess but it was good enough for a party. J  Congrats to qtie and dawn for a great job!

I came in first at around 6.30pm.  Okay, the call time was at 6pm but it was expected that people would come in late.  The three of us did a last minute clean-up of whatever is still dirty or dusty.  We moved some fragile vases in safe places, removed the figurines and candles in the center table so we could use it.  Then it started to rain, big time! haha!  ate jean came in next and we were teasing them that no one’s coming ‘coz of the heavy downpour.  Thankfully, it stopped after 30 minutes or so. 

People started to pour in and next thing we knew we had a house full of happy people. J  I don’t know if I wanted an empty or a full house.  When it was just the seven of us ( kath, dawn, jean, diane and his “friend”, francis, lo mans and i), the house was manageable and when everybody else was there, it was totally chaotic! haha! J  Well, I guess I prefer the latter ‘coz like what they say, the more the merrier.

It’s probably the first house party we had with no adult intervention if you know what I mean.  dawn’s kuya and his girlfriend were there but that doesn’t count ‘coz they’re just outside happily drinking and didn’t give a f*ck in what where doing.  Non-stop kainan, inuman session, kwentuhan and videoke all night long. J

Of course there will always be the pasaways.  Like someone who had a lot of alcohol intake for a night thus getting tipsy.  Plano naman daw niya maglasing, yun lang siyempre nagulantang mundo namin.  Kaya dinala muna sa taas para matulog.  Then there were two fools who did some burning.  It just hit me after the party.  That explains the bloodshot eyes eh. tsk, tsk! haha!

We wrapped it up at around 4.30am.  The mess was overwhelming but we managed. People are still on party mode, so we headed to bren’s place and chilled there.  When the sun was finally up, we called it a day.  It was one helluva fun.  This is the life! J  I’m finally back.  More of parties like that okay? ‘til then…

Please naman

Summer is my favorite time of the year. It's the time I get to have a break from school (what a relief!). It's also the time to do whatever I want-bask under the sun! A couple of weeks already passed and I still haven't soaked up the sun. I don't mind if it's on the beach (but it would be the best) or in the pool. I just want to enjoy summer and for me the best way is to be under the sun.

I am getting really bummed with being stuck at home. My brother's been to Baguio last week. My mother's in Cebu right now and is probably on her way home now. My sister's going to Galera for the weekend. My father called me this afternoon. He is in Negros and told me he was on the beach! Talk about inggit!

Aside from the fact that I am a loner home buddy, our puppies are wreaking havoc all over our place! I have to feed the fish, give the pups "snacks", cook lunch (yes I do!) and whole lot more. I don't mind that if only I could just get some sort of reward. So please naman, make my summer worthwhile. Let's go out, swim or just even chill over someone's place. Hear me, hear me? I'll be waiting. Sulitin na natin ang summer guys! 'Til then.... 

Wasn’t bad after all =)

The first of May turned out to be boring but fun before the day ended.  It was a holiday so what a great time to go out and see friends. =)  Most of them are busy with summer duty, school (trimesters) or ojt.  As much as I want to go out, what good would that be, if everyone’s busy.  No bad feelings there. =)  Could you imagine all of april I’ve just been out for one time?  Not typical me huh?  For once I was a homebuddy during summer.   So now that may’s here, I‘m going to make sure we’ll catch up with all the missed opportunities.  This is the last summer break we have after all.  OMG! Next year graduates na kami. whoa! =S

I sooo wanted to soak up the sun.  No beach trips, chillin’ in the pool, so you can see how I looked forward to this gimmick.  I told them we’ll be out swimming in tropical palace.  As expected, call time was not followed.  To top it all of, the three chicas who’s present all had that time of the month.  What a bummer! =S So we told the boys they’d be the only ones who’s going to swim.  Then in rained!  Nagkatamaran na sila dahil di rin naman daw kami magsswim.  dota na lang daw. Great, just great. So we went to a net caf and they played.  naj, kuya mac and I went to kfc to eat ‘coz we don’t want to be bored to death doing nothing while they play.

We ate at kfc then went to tropical for kuya mac’s fit n right drink then to ruins.  kuya mac’s been upgraded to dad status. haha! Pinagttripan ako na anak niya.  Patawa tinanong ako kung anong gusto ko:  (clears throat) “What do you want?” At kailangan english talaga niya yun tanungin.  I couldn’t find my lollipop so I didn’t get anything.  After ruins, we went back to the net caf and they were still not done.

We waited outside.  There was a bench there and when we couldn’t take the heat anymore, we went inside.  A couch there was for waiting. We talked and talked.  Finally, mac got sooo bored and decided to just go back to his gf’s place.  So naj and I were left.  Thank heavens wongki was on the way.  lj was trying to make up for the dull moment by staying with us while all the other guys played.  wongki just said hi to everyone else and we left for nikki’s.

Apparently, nikki was still out with her family and so we just waited there.  Funny how guys think.  They can be soooo slow (no offense meant). nikki finally came and it took her a couple of seconds to understand the conversation.  We even connected with out even talking.  wongki and lj were wondering how come girls get to talk with out actually speaking.

Finally our conversation ended and it was time to eat.  We couldn’t decide where to until we ended up with chowking at santana grove.  When we got there, lj was like yellow cab na lang  but it was a little pricey.  Everyone’s working on a tight budget.  So we went to chowking and we couldn’t decide what to eat.  lj again suggested to just take yellow cab.  nikki talked to him that he shoulders half of the bill then it’s deal.  While he was thinking about it, I suggest we share half of the bill. Wawa naman little brother ko.  Sabi niya game na daw siya na half sa kanya tapos sabi ko hati kami.  Oh well, it’s fine, so it’s settled. =)

We ate with gusto.  Yumyumyum pizza!  I then asked lj to buy me a frap instead.  He said he’d think about it.  I asked him to pay for the other half and he said he’ll see after we eat.  Finishing the pizza wasn’t an easy task, at least for me.  Don’t get me wrong, I love, love pizza! =))  But it was just too much and I had to finish what they placed in my plate or I won’t get my frap.  Talk about force feeding. haha!  I really wanted my frap so I finished my pizza. =)

We grabbed my frap and wongki had a latte.  naj was craving for a sundae but the store was already closed. We chilled for a bit until we finished our drinks talking about a lot of things.  We called it a day at around 11pm ‘coz naj and lj have their obligations (meaning ojt and duty) the next day.  I must admit I felt pretty bad ‘coz I didn’t get the bonding that was planned.  dota was better…hmmm… But then again it wasn’t bad after all the fun we had during the night. =)  Hope we get to do that again with the rest of the crew. =)

Nabuhay naman ako doon ;)

I was busy reading the deathly hallows the other night when I got an SMS from a good fella. Nagtext siya nung hapon ng musta pero dahil hindi ako naka-unli at kuripot ako, ‘di ako nagreply.  So the second time that he texted, I replied mainly because of the context of his message.  He was asking if I knew this certain person, my sunny days.hahaha!  I strongly thought that this was something to do with ding.  I never told kuya mac about it.  So I thought he might have shared it with him to tease me.

I kept on telling him stop trippin’ on me and told him that I’d catch him some other time ‘coz I was not on unli.  He still kept on asking me about that person.  I ask him to use the other boy’s fone to text me.  A few moments later, I did receive a message from that boy’s fone.  It was unbelievable!  They were indeed out together somewhere north.

My heart skipped a beat.  Okay, the boy never texted for five months (not unless you count the new year greeting which was a gm) now and it made me sad for quite awhile for the sudden silence from him.  It wasn’t really from him but the fact that I got a message from his number brightened me up. =)

At almost the same moment, I got another message from an unknown number.  When I opened the message, it was a surprise to see it was from someone I never expected to reply.  I didn’t know his globe digits so I rang his sun digits, and when it did, I texted him to greet.  It was his birthday after all.

I don’t load my sun anymore because I only have a limit of contacts there and most of them have globe digits as well. So why spend double right?  The unknown number belonged to him.  I got his digits without even asking! =)  I had a brief message exchange with him. =)  I never intended to have unli last night but I had to. haha!  It was spur of the moment.  =P I even abandoned my book for a while just to text.  Nabuhay naman ako doon. ;)  I’m pretty sure the smile I had the other night was the best I had for quite awhile now. ‘til then…=)

Seriously now...

I’ve been a big American idol follower and right now, I feel that the competition’s getting pretty boring.  I wasn’t happy with the turn-out of events. =S  Last week, ramiele malubay was booted out of the competition and now michael johns.  I personally believe that some other contestant should have been booted out rather than them.  ramiele, the petite filipina definitely had he vocals.  Though she wouldn’t make it far (say top three), she should’ve at least stayed a bit longer.  She had powerful vocals but for me she lacked versatility. As for Michael johns, there’s no denying the guy’s got a talent.  Bottom three tonight:  syesha, carly and michael.  Great singers and yet at the bottom three. =(  seriously now, people should go for good quality voice since it is a singing competition after all.  I’ve detested as to why is kristy lee still there.  kristy lee lovers go hate me now.  it sucks to see better singers go.  Apparently, the voters disagree with me as to who are the better singers.  Oh well…like paula always say “this is just the beginning” every time she feels that someone doesn’t deserve to be voted out.  so to the next step to ramiele and michael.

march 28-another sleepover at qtie's. =) this time we had a lot of chcas to join the fun.=) slept at around 4am. did a lot of wacky, craxy stuff that night. one more time guys!

march 18-technically exams are over..just one left...law, eh no sweat naman un..haha!yabang.so we went to have our well-deserved and been-cancelled-for-a -lot-of-times gimmick.=) where at??moa baby!

march 26-after graduation went to qtie's place...these are just teasers. got a horrible net connection and uploading is such a torture.=( i'll try to post it in the near future.haha!

*march 26-had lunch at hotshots bf with fellas before heading to the graduation. yummy!=)

Sleepover madness =))

*March 26-tita lolit flew to cebu to help out kath’s (qtie) ninang for a house blessing event…

We had lunch at hotshots just to have some bonding time before summer duty comes for our nursing friends.  After that, we went to our school for the graduation.  Majority of us went to see friends who have siblings graduating that day.  Kumbaga nakikapatid kami.haha!  It was nice to see them. =)

It was freakin’ hot as if we’re inside an oven.  Good thing, I brought my portable air conditioner with me a.k.a my big and I mean BIG fan.haha!  We stayed until it was over, taking pictures from time to time.

After that, naj and I headed home with qtie. =) Since tita would be spending a couple of days in cebu, we were allowed to have sleepovers there.  Housekeepers ang drama namin.  First shift was naj and i.

I was asking what hairstyle would fit me.  I wanted a makeover just for the heck of it.  I feel like I look the same through the years and I wanted some change.  So qtie curled my hair and she felt like playing, put some make-up on me!  Because I love my qtie dearly, I allowed her to murder my face.haha!  Wait ‘til I get the chance to post the pics.  She and naj were also into the curling craze and we had a photo shoot after that… megaphoto shoot.nyahaha! =P

The ever adorable kyle (qtie’s youngest sib), joined in our photo shoot.  There were pics that were taken by him. Finally, our addiction ended and we watched jumper.  I soooo wanted to be one so could go to places in an instant.  Places were my beloved fellas are based at the moment.  Hear me:  I am terribly missing you guys. =( 

I was talking to naj about a cool scene and she didn’t respond to me.  When I looked at her, knock out na pala!  Lights were off at around 1.30 am but I was still up ‘til 2am.  My bestfriend and I were texting pa.  Nag-iinarte kasi ako about something kaya bumabawi.  naj woke up at 8am and was bugging me to wake up.  For crying out loud! It was JUST 8am.  I said it’s still early.  Finally, I conquered the sleeping temptation at 10am. kyle woke up to ask for his milk and I told him to wake qtie up. Iba ang powers ni kyle at nagising nya ate nya.  Eh kahit alarm clock suko dun eh! =P

We had brunch and hung-out for a bit after finally heading back home to our own homes. haha!  It was definitely one helluva fun time with naj and qtie. =))

*March 29-another sleepover at qtie’s. =)

Call time was at 4pm but I decided to go there at 6.30pm.  I didn’t want to be the early bird like most of the time.  Surprise, suprsise…I was still the first.  qtie was already “ranting” where the others are ‘coz she was getting hungry.  nes (bakla) and dawn came and we couldn’t wait anymore so we ate dinner already.

dawn had this brilliant idea that we go drink.  qtie was allowed to throw an inuman session just keep in moderation lang daw.  we asked nik (tuki) and wongki to grab some stuff for the mixed drink. inasar namin si dawn na siya magbayad kasi idea niya.  aba! game ang loca…anything for getting smashed.haha!

tuki and wongki finally got there with the drinks and all.  There were lots of chips and bbq too! =)  When we asked them how much the damage was, they just said “wala”.  We were insisting how much was the cost but they also insisted with nothing.  Then it hit me, they were throwing an advance celebration for their 2^nd anniversary. =))  But before that happy moment for the couple, they had a dramarama going on that left all of us clueless.  nik, you still owe us that bit of kwento.haha! =P  wongki, whatever it was ang kulit nyo ni nik. haha!  He didn’t stay long ‘coz he was a thorn among the roses.  Big surprise! tuki was allowed to join us in sleeping over. =))

It was girls’ slumber partey.  trin came shortly followed by naj, the ever-so-busy-but-nonetheless-present fella. =P  Now the delegates are all in.  That’s seven girls in total.  =))  I had straight hair that night ‘coz I really wanted a makeover and I had a couple of friends to serve as my hair council. They were all for the straight hair and a trim to go with that.  Wait ‘til I get that.  ;)  naj came with curly hair.  She enjoyed her curls the previous day.  tuki asked qtie to make her hair curly.  All of us don the straight hair look while trin kept her natural curls.  =)  we abused the cam all night, capturing wonderful moments. 

The drink tasted like juice, the way I wanted my drink to be so I don’t taste any trace of alcohol.  Thanks bakla for the wonderful mix. =) The next round was mixed by dawn,  being the drinker that she is, she made it strong.  All of us were like “urgh!”.  It was like drinking isopropyl alcohol for real.  You know what I mean right?  She asked us to finish one glass and then she’ll mix it again.  We ended up not drinking another round.  I was  serving my punishment and just had two glasses.  =S  We didn’t even finish the other bottle.

While all the merriment was going on, we had a spooky experience.  We were having so much fun that we were causing noise.  It was already late when the door creaked, open for a few seconds and then closed.  It was dawn, bakla and I who saw it.  The others were busy watching.  They instantly freaked out and I was just calm ‘coz I know it might be someone lurking unseen.  They were telling qtie about it.  She was just “tunay?”  I told her to asked kyle if he opened the door.

She came back saying no and that caused more commotion.  So I told them not to be so loud kasi baka naiingayan na samin.  qtie had something in mind she went to the restroom.  The door opened just like the first time it happened. We started to scream! Then qtie explained there was pressure from the restroom that causes the door to open. If you close the restroom door, the other door would open. Guess those unseen are immune to the noise we were making after all.  We were laughing our heads off for being such scaredy cats.  I was thinking, what would happen if it opened with out the restroom door being closed?

I couldn’t voice out my thought ‘coz we were continuously laughing…when the door opened for the third time.  We were all in the room so there was nothing that would have caused the pressure.  =S We screamed again.  When I finally realized that it was qtie’s couz, I instantly said sorry.  qtie talked to him.  He woke up ‘coz of our screams and thought what was happening to us since we were all girls.  Kasi naman bakit moreno cuz mo qtie? ‘Di tuloy kagad namin nakita and pinagkamalan pa namin na mumu. Sorry naman.

To shake off that pseudo-spooky moment, we watched something that made our abs work out big time.  Superduper tawa kami with astonishment and what-nots.  I “purposely forgot” what was the title just for the sake of it. haha! Basta…we decided to watch qtie’s kiddo videos.  OMG!  Super oldschool na pala namin.  Nakakatawa at nakakatuwa how they looked like back then.  I didn’t graduate in prep so I wasn’t there.  True blue arborians lang eh. =)

After that, we watched jumper.  They haven’t seen it yet and while we were watching, we ordered mcdonald’s.  addict lang talaga.  Our yummy food came in at 3am and I was the only one who had a hardcore meal—rice and chicken fillet and my favorite hot choco.=))  Everyone else had burger or fries and nuggets.  What can I do? I am a growing kid.haha!

Technically, dawn joined our slumber partey.  She left at 3.30 am, missing just a little bit of fun.  We finally slept at around 4am. First blood si tuki then bakla followed by qtie then naj.  trin and I were the last to sleep.  soulja boy’s crank that was making so much noise that everyone bolted upright except qtie who was searching her fone( the noise maker) with her hand.  bakla was supposed to attend ein’s (bf) niece or nephew’s (don’t know)  graduation so qtie had the alarm.  She got lazy and slept again.  tita tina picked tuki up at 9.30am.

We had brunch and ate with gusto.  trin’s mom picked her up and naj left for lunch at home.  bakla and I chilled for a bit before finally getting our asses off qtie’s place. It was one crazy uber cool girl’s slumber partey. =))  thanks to tita lolit for allowing us to stay there while she was away. to qtie for being a great host.  I should stay there longer to gain weight. =P to 28 kalaw residence (exposed), for welcoming us with open arms for two days, thanks a lot. =))  to my girlfriends, for the best time ever.  Let’s have another one this week. kidding! =P  to wongki and tuki, for the big treat. ;P  to bestfriend for making bawi.  I love, love you guys.  Tough times are yet to come but we never miss on the good stuff.  to all my girlfriends who’ve been off the radar, wish you made it there. This especially goes out to my partner in crime, I wish you were here baru.  It was soooo much fun and if you were here, it would’ve been extra fun. haaay! ‘til then…=)

I seriously need a decent net connection

It was just an hour

Last march 29, lights were asked to be turned off for an hour to celebrate earth hour.  Global warming is intensifying and an hour of sacrifice would greatly help in alleviating this worldwide problem.  FYI:  everyone is affected and so everyone is expected to cooperate.  I was so tired from the slumber partey and so I was off at 7pm ‘til 10pm.  I just peeked and everything was dark.  I then realized it was earth hour.  I slept the whole hour.  I know I’m a bummer but I was just so tired and sleepy.

When I woke up, the lights were back and I asked my sister if everyone else in our block did the same thing.  Sad to say, only five households partake. =(  it was just an hour and yet people failed to do a little sacrifice for everyone.  If polar bears drown, it’s all your ruddy fault!  To everyone else who joined this earth hour, cheers to us ‘coz we love the world we live in. ‘til then…

kuya mac's ain't a teen anymore =P

kuya mac is celebrating his twentieth natal today.  He ain’t a teen anymore.  Yikes! t-w-e-n-t-y…haha!  He treated us in tides, one of the quieter drinking places in bf.  I got there around 9pm (call time was 7-8pm) and I was waiting for qtie.  Kuya mac was sarcastically telling us that at least we made it to his birthday this year.  Last year kasi apat lang daw sila eh minsan lang siya mag-celebrate.  That’s why we made bawi this year. =)  We drank the whole night until I got a little overboard.  =S I did not turn into a crybaby ‘coz really there’s no reason to. =)  When the clock hit midnight, we sang kuya mac a happy birthday and had fun until it was closing time.

We (ton+kath+rach=whatever you want to call them and a third wheel.haha!) gave him a shirt.  He was on a pacman mode.  He was like “sege hated ko mona se jenke. Salamat sa pagponta niyo”.  It was hilarious! He did it even in text. jie was there. We haven’t seen him for ages!  Bestfriend surprised us with trin. =) It was just recently that they knew they were cousins.  We went to qtie’s place (trin dropped us off lang) and chilled there until sunrise.  Kuya mac, emie and ding didn’t stay long.  So it was just the three of us and an i-touch to entertain us.  Eventually, we just chatted until sunrise.  I was supposed to sleep over at qtie’s place but we opted to stay with bestfriend in the living room.  Kawawa naman siya kung kami tulog sa room tapos siya nandun lang plus we weren’t really that sleepy.  I loved bonding with them.  It’s been awhile since we last did that.

I went home around 6.30am with my head spinning.  I drank more than I could handle but hey, I was still sober…sure I’m extra kulit but I know what the hell was happening around me. haha! =) happy birthday kuya mac. ‘til then…
