'twas a cooking show...

After what seemed to be a hell week, I finally got the chance to watch a game live.=)  All out na 'to.  Joicey and I even asked She to buy us tickets in dome ( they had a seminar there) 'coz it was already sold out in UST.  Though we got a bit late, we were able to get seats and enjoyed the game.  What I thought would be a lousy game for the Tigers turned out to be the other way around.  They were playing so well.=)  After the first-half, it was the start were they crumbled.  I had prayed that they sustain the lead or better yet make it higher...  Apparently, they didn't.  They managed to keep a two-point lead at the end of the third but the start of the fourth was like hell!  No more offensive rebounds, shots were taken but missed and they were in deep foul trouble!  Big thanks to the referees who were there to call on useless fouls...  Come on, if they didn't want any physical contact, they should've refereed in a chess match!  Grabe solid!  Matamaan lang ata ng balahibo La Salle, foul na sa UST!  It was obvious.  The time we were leading bigtime wala naman ganung calls.  Nung tight na yung game anu-ano na mga tinatawag!  There were even players from the other school who were fouling and personally, I think for the purpose of deliberately hurting our players!  Nadamitan lang ng green...  Ang luto ng mga ref!  I even almost got to an argument with a stranger!  All the same, it was a god game.. It could've been better if we sung the hymn first...Maybe I'm just sour-graping...  But to those who watched the game, knew what happened.  'Di bale sa next round na lang...'Til then...=)

like a worker bee...

Last week, was yet another busy week.It obviously showed 'coz I wasn't able to go surf.hahaha! But I wouldn't let this day pass without catching up with my blogs... Why the hell was I busy??  Three reasons in mind:Harry Potter, school and gimmicks.  So I'll start with the gimmicks since that was fun.=)  I was out with my clan last weekend.  And I mean the two days off. I exchanged watching UAAP live for my cousin's birthday celebration.  She's been ranting about me watching for quite sometime now.haha!  So I just watched it there at home and the following day, we visited my granny who had an operation due to an accident.  As always, makulit kami.=)  Then Monday came and it was back to business with school. I had  to juggle school stuff and reading HP since I so wanted to finish it. I even missed a class 'coz i finished reading it!tsk tsk!  Anyway, that's not the only thing that kept me busy.  Text galore...woohoo!=)  Not to mention UAAP game which I felt terribly bad for missing it 'coz I had the ticket but I couldn't cut my class 'coz I had a quiz!  Well, I do hope this week will be lighter. 'Til then...=)

Well, my bad wasn't that bad afte all.  Though it was still bad.  Gets? It's maybe 'coz I was anticipating bad things to happen so when they came, I wasn't surprised at all.  A ray of light??Nope it wasn't a beam from a flashlight.  It was from sesame street!whew!nakakatuwa naman...=)

it's just the way it is...

Yesterday was like a deja of an event almost three years ago.  My brotha flew back to states.  It was still sad knowing that he'll be far for three years...  Unlike three years ago, we weren't crying like crazy.  It's all sad but no tears.  Well 'coz we know that in three years' time he'll be home again and hopefully be here for good.  The last time he let, we didn't know when he'll come back.  He just surprised us this june.  Who knows?  He'll surprise us again next week!hahaha! How I wish of that.  Anyway, I hope I'll get a visa and visit him (and baru) there.  What makes me even sadder are the gimmicks when he was on vacation.  So I'm ticking days off 'til our next gimmicks!Take care there.  I miss you brotha!'Til then...=)

I can tell from the minute I woke up,it's gonna be a lonely, lonely,lonely,lonely day...My song whenever I'm feeling blue.  Nothing serious really.  Just everything.  haha!Nagkukulit lang.  It started saturday afternoon...Okay we've lost for the second time!To a team with basically packed with rookies...hmmmm...I was like okay...The next day, I was waiting for ue-admu game. I know it would be a great one.  Two powerful teams and it was chichu's natal.  Dapat gift nila win.  Errr...Lost by three pts man...=(  Now I'm really down.  Yung dalawang team na gustong-gusto ko olats!To add up, I got this text from a galpal...That didn't improve my mood!My first and third subject today were vacant too! Just this morning, I checked my receive calls and to my horror, I saw that two of my precious calls from dear fellas got deleted.  Napalitan ng ibang calls!Super important nun 'coz there were calls from fellas greeting me during my debut!One from lj and the other one was an international call from my brotha!='(  Plus kalbo deleted me in his friendster account!Major asar! I can tell that this wee'ks gonna be hell for me..Sad, irritating whatever you wanna call it.  I just hope I can see a ray of light...hahaha!'til then...

Last july 9, I just came out of the Church with joicey when my brotha gave me a call.  I missed it once 'coz I was still inside.  Anyway, I took the call and he said they were in ust.  Meet them up daw. Eh i joicey shy-type so I dropped her off in cfad and headed my way to jabi asturias.Anak ng! Wala pa sila.I waited under the scorching heat.  Finally they came and I decided to change clothes.  Ardjel went to pee.  I was a bit curious how come there was only one cubicle.  Then Ardjel said form the other restroom, "Rachel, panlalaki yan!"Oh my gosh!soooooooooooo jahe!Good thing there wa no one in there or else they might have thought I was trying to peep.hmph!We even saw kim and had a little chat with her. We watched ding's game and after that we headed home.  They had a pit stop in baliwag.  The ride home was crazy!I think they forgot that I'm a chic or they just see me a a guy!Like what brotha calls me,SMB! So totally not!But it was great hanging out with them.  It's like I have three bodyguards.'til then...=)

school pride baby...

Last july 7, saturday, I braved my way just to reach dome.Why??  'Twas the UAAP Opening and my school i the host this year. I couldn't let it pass.  I opted to watch it instead of going somewhere else when a good friend offered me to go with them (family) to a great escapade. School pride 'to. The over-all performancewas awesome.  Whenever the SDT performs, expect an uproarfrom the crowd.=) I even get to see my baller eyecandies though they were a bit blurred! For crying out loud we were in the GA gallery! Walang palialaman, basta napanood ko ng live. Darn! I missed the drumbeat.  Oh yeah! Plu the good-looking guy from the green and white school.  Though we terribly lot the first two games, I know that they'll get their shots soon...I just hope it'll be on our next game.  No matter what happens, school pride baby!=) Proud to be a Thomasian.'til then...=)

Saturday FUN Night

Starbucks... Central... Havana...

not my (our) typical gimmick...

Last saturday I was really sluggish to go out with my fellas...Ang gulo kasi nung plan but when they said they were at starbucks, I rushed going there.  I was badly craving for a frappe.  Anyway, after chilling there for sometime, we finally headed to central.  We wanted to check it out 'coz everyone's hanging -out there.  Well, it was good excet for the heat! grabe init! Oh! Plus the smoke machine!Kahit walang yosi-er samin eh kumapit ung smell 'coz madami nagssmoke. Ok lang pero mas ok kung wala.haha!  Anyway, it wasn't really my typical gimmick.  OUr typical gimmick.  Lagi house lang, mall or anywhere that's not that crowded. Plus it was also an inuman place.Alcohol-free man..Well that night, I gave myself a break.  drank a bit and took a few shots of bad boy...para lang naman cocktail eh.=)  I wouldn't get myself drunk no!  Suave moves si baru..Yun nga lang sablay!  After central, we went to havana and kanta galore naman!It was all good kahit umuulan...'til our next not typical gimmick!haha!Uy!nag-enjoy!=P 

i darn miss it...=(

It was just the 3rd wk. back to school and I'm hating it!  For the simple reason that I hate my sked...so much!  There's nothing I can really do 'coz swapping period's over.  All I could do is rant! I wasn't able to swap with someone to be in the morning session.  So I'm stuck with this killer sked.  Ok, so I'm being a brat, compared with ding and qtie, I have the best sked.  The thing is, I'm so used to the morning sked and I'm having a hard time adjusting with my sked right now.  Enough of that.  One more reason is that my berks are in the a.m session except for me and ai.  I miss them terribly.=(  Good thing that I have friends in my block (nicole,gen and marga).=)  what we did was met up last friday and spent time like the old days.=) It's great that nothing has changed.  Lost pa rin sila she and joicey pag nag-uusap sila, uapp craze.  Simple things like that.  I met up with baru too.  She visited ust to meet her other friends as well.   She slept over at the dorm. Ba't di raw ko dun natulog? Sorry 'di prepared.  Next time guys!=) Tapos tambay blues sa dorm. Met up with ding and walked around ust. We picked baru up at tapsi (she met up with some friends again) and went to Wendy's before finally heading back to the dorm.  Driver was already there. excited!=P  Traffic was horrendous.=S We dropped driver's friend off at bicutan then home-bound, qtie's place.  Binaba muna namin si ding kayla brotha.  Dinner galore at qtie's then finally uwian.  I know I have to endure the whole sem with my freakin' sked.  I miss my berks so much. galey!estudyante mode ko that week.  Oh well...It was definitely nice to have tomasinos day-out.=)  Just like the freshie days.  brad,kath, meg and rach.=)  Thanks for picking us up driver.=) Next time ulit.haha!'til then...=)

this is the life...=)

If you haven't noticed, my last blog was almost a month ago.  There were a lot of things that happened in that short span of time.  For one, we had limited time and so we had to make the most out of it.=) Then there was school too.  I must admit it's hard balancing studies and fun time.  But I guess if you really want something, you'll do everything and anything to get it.  You just have to manage your time well and compensate. School's been harsh (ganun katindi!) to the point that on the 2nd wk, I got sick!  I missed classes for two days!argh! It's too early for estudyante mode.  It's my sarcastic term for slacking-off.  Come on, learning isn't confined in the four walls of a classroom...there goes an alibi!=P I wouldn't elaborate much on what's been going on 'coz there are pics of it to tell you everything.=) In a nutshell, we were always out whenever possible.  There's  the never-ending chill-out sessions to whoever's pad, welcome party, MOA adventures, poker night and a whole lot of stuff. I love spending time with my fellas even if it means sermon. You know what I mean. It's all worth it!=)  This is the life baby!'til then...=)
