roller coaster adventure...

Yesterday was a really exhausting day.  I passed by seven cities in one day.  Imagine that.  Good thing I was with my sister or else it would’ve been a hell for me.  We got something from muntinlupa, then took the bus to lawton. We passed by parañaque, makati, pasay, manila.  We made it on time, but darn office ang aga nagsara!grrr!totallypissed off! So we just dropped by qtie’s and chatted for some time.  After that, we still ate at Mcdonald’s even after qtie prepared snacks for us. Nakakapagod un no so pig-out.  Haha!  Even saw some people. If you know what I mean.  Now, why didn’t I see kalbo??hmph!  anyway, we went home after eating.  We took the fx this time.  So we passed by part of cavite and finally, las piñas.  There you have it, my roller coaster adventure.  Haha! ‘til then…Ü

dramarama blues…

If you’ve been wondering why I was off from the blog world for weeks, it’s because of this… dramarama! Also aside from the fact that I was busy reviewing for the exams.  Though it didn’t really show, I had a rough week.  Some matters were going on.  I won’t tell it anymore, after all it’s over.  A bit shallow but it caused me drama! A big one. Haha!=P  but I can’t be too sad for a long time.  It’s just not me.  So I started to smile and laugh again.  Nakakatawa lang ang drama ko that time.  So not me! Haha! Oh well… Siguro minsan kailangan talaga yun. ‘til then…=)

fabuloso! =)

Jan. 13, we went to macapagal to watch the closing of pyrolympics.  Goodness! Everyone was out there to see it too.  Coastal highway, was congested big time!  We decided to just walk from the coastal mall up to Mcdonald’s macapagal.  It was soooo crowded! As if people were there for a revolution. But it was worth it.  Philippines’ exhibition was competitive enough for the pyrolympics.ÜÜÜ  Pinoy pride ‘to!  After that, we decided to eat.  The long wait for Philippines made us all hungry.  Chinese foods oh so yummy!=) Good thing we decided to eat or we would end up grumpy all the way home.  We got home almost 3am.  It was the first time I was out at that time not with friends but my family.  What an adventure!=P  it was so fabuloso!Ü ‘til then…=)

what a surprise!=)

Last, last week, I had the biggest surprise (so far) for this year… Jan. 12, I was busy reviewing for eco when my fone’s light was blinking and saw that someone was calling.  Good thing I had it in my hand or else I could’ve missed it ‘coz I wasn’t in vibrate mode that time.  Anyway, it flashed unknown, so I was thinking it might be a private number or a long distance call. Seems more of the latter.  I waited for a few more rings (though I didn’t hear it that time), when it was like forever, I answered.  The person on the other end was sort of shouting this: “Baru!” Oh. My. Gosh! It’s my baru indeed! It’s been six long months since I last heard her voice. Drama queen!  Seriously though, I missed her voice… I practically miss everything about her.  She’s with brotha.  They’re out to see a flick with brotha’s other friends.  I forgot everything about reviewing!  I just waved to my blockmates who went inside the room ( I went out to talk to them over the fone).  It was sweet talking to both of them.ÜÜÜ I was talkinh more with baru.  After all brotha calls from time to time.  The talk lasted for 15 minutes.  Best 15 mins. I had so far.=) I miss them mucho! Can’t wait for baru to have vacation here.  Si brotha kasi kailangan pa tapusin school dun eh! We had to put the fone down ‘coz I went outside school campus and it’s not safe to be walking with your fone out nowadays. Well, that was one great surprise!Ü ‘til then…=)

the hype continues...

It’s been months since my school bagged a lot of championship crowns in the UAAP but I guess the Thomasian community just can’t get enough.=)  There are a lot of teams who worked their asses off during practices just to get those wonderful trophies and of course, school pride.Ü  I’m proud to say that my school got the championship titles for basketball- men’s and women’s division, taekwondo- men’s and women’s division (too!=P), women’s division of chess, swimming and table tennis, men’s division of judo.  We also ranked second in men’s division of swimming and table tennis, women’s division of judo. Who would ever forget about the Salinggawi Dance Troupe? Five in a row baby!=) Great huh??  That’s the University of Santo Tomas for you.  As a tribute to our athletes, the Varsitarian (official student publication of UST), released a special sports issue.  Who’s on the cover?? Of course five of the most celebrated tiger cagers.Ü  It particularly focuses on the growling tigers ending their 10-yr drought with a Cinderella story.  Almost everyone who wrote in that issue said that it was faith that guided the team to victory and I strongly believe that. Against all odds but we kept our faith.  Everything else is history.  There are a lot of good points mentioned there but if I mention all, probably it’ll take a lot of effort from me typing it and I am one sluggish person to do that.  nyaha!=P So let me just say my favorite points…  ‘Di lang halata pero mga players naman make it a point to say a little prayer in the chapel or make the sign of the cross whenever they pass by.  Nagmamano sila sa mga pari and officials ng IPEA.  It’s a nice sight ‘coz they’re all big then you see them taking the hands of the elders to show respect.=)  My other favorite is that our starting pointguard couldn’t even make his freethrows even if there is a shotgun held in his face!  Poor boy, natira na naman with his dismal freethrow shooting. Haaay!  Having the blue and white as an opponent for the finals, who were also a Catholic school, there was a battle of prayers.  But as one writer said,  exactly the point.  Pantay ang labanan un nga lang, God is a Thomasian and answered our prayers. haha!  So there, the hype continues and I’m pretty sure it’ll continue until next season.  Prepare for a wonderful opening for that.  We are the host. =) ‘til then…ÜÜÜ

One must experience both and I did.  I have no worries when I shed tears ‘coz I know after the tears would be smiles and laughter.Ü  though I had my fair share of tears and sadness, I never let it get in my way.  Konting iyak lang, then bounce back to being happy, positive.  That’s me.Ü  here’s my list of 17 whatevers that made an impact in me…good or nasty. haha!=)

our own version..

Dec. 29, we had our own version of Christmas party.  Games, videoke, fireworks, and some other things.  We even have a dresscode- red or green only.  Siyempre may mga pasaway!  It was sooooooo great to see all of them.  Others kasi once in a blue moon lang magpakita. Oh yeah!ung roman candle ko natamaan yung hilux car infront of qtie’s place.  Basically, natamaan ko. haha!i didn’t mean to.  It got windy, yung lumalabas from the roman candle sakin napunta eh naturo ko tuloy sa direction nung car sakto lumabas ung lumilipad. Basta un na un. haha! It left a burnt mark pero nabura naman.  The long chats would always be there.=) We left around 12:30 am. Pretty early for our usual nighouts.  As always, driver dropped us off. Wish we could do more of those often.  ‘til then…Ü

great bonding time...

for a change, qtie and I bonded with our friends in ust.  Where at?? Where the magic continues—enchanted kingdom!!!  Kahit mga puyat from paskuhan, everyone was energetic once we got in.  We had some minor problem with the tickets but that was ok.  All out na yun. Nandun na kami eh.  Ang saya ng feeling to have friends.  Friends like them.  Well I wouldn’t choose people to be my friend if they’re not cool in my standards right??Ü  We got there around 11am and left around 10.30 pm. Talk about sulit!=P It was so fun, coz I spent quality time with them and there was no line for the rides.  If there was, it was not those winding lines which you have to wait for hours.  Of course I didn’t ride space shuttle. Ano ko baliw?! Never!  When the sun went down, we too were down. Haha!  Lowbatt na but still rode rides and walked in the theme park.  I was soaking after two consecutive rides in rio grande. It’s as if my clothes were fresh from the washing machine. haha! As if the fireworks during paskuhan weren’t enough, we watched the display there, then left afterwards.

p.s
I lost my pillow.=(
It was given to me by my bestfriend..
haaay!

better than the last...

Dec. 20, paskuhan baby!Ü there were news that the fireworks display would be shorter.  But when I watched it, I had a stiff neck!  It was fantastic!=)  I got to hang-out with my great friends.  First, with my college friends and then with my highschool friends. Tatlo lang naman kami napadpad ng uste. haha!  =P Though we didn’t have any mat or paper to sit on the field, it was still cool ‘coz for the first time, I got my food from mcdonald’s in 12 minutes.  Talagang inorasan ko.  Last year, it took us almost two hrs. for our meal and it was just chicken!  This year, I had cheese burger and chicken fillet..ok di ba?? There were bands who performed aside from the university bands.  Urbandub, Dicta License and Sponge Cola.  They made the students bang their heads, scream and sing their lungs out.  I even saw my dear luvie. haha!  5”10’ or 5”11’ mr. smiley.ÜÜÜ definitely this paskuhan is better than the last!’ til then…Ü

just because..

One hot afternoon, after class, my friends and I craved for siomai and so we went to grab the most delicious siomai in school.  Siomai House!!!=) it was dec. 15.  We ate it in one of our fave spots, the gym pavilion.  While we were walking our way there, there were three guys behind us.  They were talking about soccer.  There was a game in the field between eccle and high ata.  I forgot.  Anyway, based from their conversation, there college lost to commerce.  They were sort of bitter about it.  This is what one of them said: “Basta sports, patay sa commerce. Eh mga varsity andun eh.” The other said: “Di bale, tayo naman bawi sa academics.” My friends and I (we were four) so wanted to punch them!  While they were having that conversation they took over us and even passed by us.  I think they didn’t realize we are from commerce or it was really their intention to make us overhear their conversation.  Either way, it doesn’t mean that because our college is the home of the athletes, we neglect our studies.  Plus it doesn’t give them the right that because their college is one of our best, all of them are good in school.  I have a dear friend from that college and ‘di naman ganun mag-isip about commerce.  Come on! Just because the athletes come from our college doesn’t mean they don’t care about school or we don’t care about school.  I was on the varsity team during my highschool days.  True sometimes I forget my responsibilities as a student but I always make up for it.  I even saw one of the ballers in the library.  If you were thinking he was just making pa-cute to girls, he wasn’t.  He’s the type who’d take school seriously. Same goes for the other players.  Maybe their not as brilliant like those typical students but they are making efforts to get good grades.  Gusto lang nila maglaro pero ‘di ibig sabihin nun ‘di sila nag-aaral. Oh well… ‘til then..

Santa's little elf...=p

It has been three weeks since my last blog.  Forgive me for that.  Christmas season came and so dear Santa’s been so demanding. haha!=) Elves like me were going places to get the presents of those kids who’ve been nice the past year. For those who’ve been naughty, Santa’s been kind to buy them presents too.  The gift factory was so busy.  The elves were busy wrapping gifts and accompanying Santa deliver the gifts in the wee hours in the morning.  Now that Christmas is over, I have time to blog. haha! Actually that was just an alibi. =P I just thought of using being Santa’s little elf to get away with being absent in the blog world for three weeks.  All I wanted to say is sorry for the delay.  But seriously, during the Christmas break, I was busy doing things and having fun. So before I start to talk nonsense again, I’ll end this.  Hope you’ll enjoy reading my blogs.Ü
