boys will be boys...=P

Last friday, brad and mac patiently waited for me at the commerce lobby.  Then we headed to kath’s dorm and chilled for a bit.  We went ahead of kath ‘coz she was still waiting for tita.  We just had one agenda-brad’s new bag.  He wanted to get a new one since his bag’s sooo worn out.  festi was in mind para daw down south na.  I was asking that we just go to atc since it’s more or less the same plus it’s even nearer.  When we got in lawton, the line wasn’t that long but it was taking some time.  So  we just took the bus.  Okay yung unang bus na dumating eh.  It was a new one but it immediately got jampacked with all the commuters rushing to get home.  So we settled for the next bus which was ancient!  I’m not kidding.  It was rickety and had tiny roaches crawling!  I’m not scared of it but it was eeky!  To top it all off, it was like one helluva roller coaster ride that got us dizzy.  brad even fell off his seat when we took a sharp turn!  As in big time hulog!  mac had to grab him by the arm.  He was so deep in his sleep that he fell.  Biglang nagising eh.  When the bus stopped at baclaran, mac had this idea why not moa instead.  It offered a lot of stores.  Dapat baba namin southmall tapos jeep papuntang atc eh naging  baclaran.  The most thrilling part was we walked all the way from baclaran up to moa!  Lakas trip lang.  natakot pa ko kasi andami talagang cars pero tawid galore lang kami.  While we were having our little stroll, our conversation was getting out of hand.  Let’s just say I was covering my ears and screaming.  I was like a little tyke who shouldn’t hear such things. haha!  boy talk kung boy talk eh.  Akala na naman ata nila ako si titan or adjie eh. =P Dapat ‘di na ko sumama sa kanila.  Nabaliw ako!  Loco talaga mga yun.  Mission accomplished naman kami. brad bought this nike bag. I got home almost 10 pm and pap was like “ang late naman ng class mo”   nangasar na naman.  I was lucky ate didn’t give me a sermon and kuya was out.  mum’s out somewhere doing work.  What do they say when the cat is away?  The mouse celebrates!haha!=)  ‘til then…

we love to eat...=P

I was eating with so much gusto last week with MG, MV and NA (gen, marga and nikkie).  We like to call each other by our initials.  Anyway, we went on a major food trip the whole week.  I was craving for a mcdo float last tuesday and so I asked MV to eat with me ‘coz NA ate already (she went with us anyway and ate again!).  I ordered a chicken sandwhich and asked my drink to be converted to a float.  The cashier said it couldn’t be converted ‘coz I was using the mcmoney.  Too hungry to think, I settled for the sandwhich.  The next day, NA wanted to eat somewhere with mashed potatoes.  We had lunch at ate eva’s and she so wanted an additional mashed but she said it was too pricey for a small amount.  We weren’t satisfied so we toured the rest of amv for more.  We ended up having cerealicious. =)  Funny ‘coz NA didn’t want to spend 30 bucks for mashed potato but spent more for a small bowl of cereals.haha!  Thank heavens we ate a lot ‘coz the econometrics quizzes (we had three for two hours! =S)  were so energy-draining.  Then thursday, we (MV and i) had lunch at reyes’ bbq while MG had binalot-daing na bangus.  She’s having a soft diet that time.  We missed her the first two days of food trip ‘coz she needed some rest after getting out of the hospital.  We ended our week at chubby’s. It was only NA who ate heavy ‘coz MG and I ate at jollibee before class and so we were still full that time.  We just had chocolate chip cookies and yummy vanilla tootsie roll from MV.  Sure it wasn’t our typical trip but it was awesome splurging on good food. =)  hmmm…pero this week  medyo tipid meals naman ah. haha! But let’s have cerealicious again. =)  ‘til then…

chillax after a brain damage... =)

I felt so drain after a week of exams.  My last exams killed me—econometrics and eco research.  I wanted to pamper myself and unwind.  My bestfriend, qtie and I had a movie date.  I sooo wanted to set them up but I wasn’t successful.  wongki called me up when I was preparing for atc and I invited him.  driver and wongki picked me up and we headed to atc.  We met up with qtie. Call time was 5pm (given by bestfriend).  We waited… waited…and waited.  We got so bored we decided to go to timezone.  Shot some hoops with qtie and a lot more.  I asked driver to get me a lollipop. yummy! =)  We finished playing and bestfriend’s still missing.  He got there 7.30pm.  cool huh?  Tempers were running high.hmmm…  Kasi naman antagal!  We didn’t want to watch anymore ‘coz it was of time constraint.  Bestfriend insisted that after a few minutes of thinking what to do, we were in line for movie tickets.  driver and wongki left to get wongki’s car and driver went to his racer friends.  We watched national treasure. =)  it was sooo cool.  While we were watching, qtie and bestfriend were still having their little talk.  I wanted to blow a whistle for them to stop. haha!  After the movie,  we met up with trin, a good old friend.=) It’s such a shame I wasn’t able to hang-out with her anymore. Sorry chica, next time talaga bawi ako.  So even though we got oh so impatient with waiting, it was great ‘coz I get to spend time with my fellas and unwind with all the brain hemorrhage I got. haha! til our next chillax.  =)

p.s
bestfriend pls. be on time!

oh.my.gosh.

I had my exams last week.  I had all the time in the world to review…errr not.haha!  Instead, I dedicated my time to leisure. =)  I watched all the tv programs I like, played pokemon until I got bored and totally bummed around. haha! I studied late at night but not that much. I don’t know what had gotten into me. I just didn’t feel like reviewing but I’m pretty sure I did well (maybe? haha!) in my exams except for econometrics. I’m not feeling bad though ‘coz majority of us didn’t know what the hell was the exam. nyahaha!

With all that slacking off, I had the time to watch american idol. Man it was hilarious! =P  I always enjoy watching the auditions, in fact it’s more exciting than the real competition.  In the auditions, you get the see who’s got the potentials and who’s just messing around.  There were a lot who just wanted exposure if you know what I mean.  One attention-seeker was reynaldo lapuz.  Yep, he’s pinoy.  Sad to say, he’s not one of those you’ll be proud of.  From his name to his looks and his location in states, he was definitely one pinoy.  For crying out loud, he wore this “bird man” costume.  That was nothing compared to his performance.  He was singing at the top of his lungs “I am your brother, your bestfriend forever…”  it goes on and on.  Man did he speak english very stiff!  We were laughing and at the same time humiliated by his poor performance.  Simon cowell’s expression fits his performance: “Oh.my.god”.  The judges were entertained though. They even joined him in singing and paula was dancing.  He’s one hilarious person and yes, he is pinoy.  ‘til then…

does she really have to? =P

I was waiting for an fx with my friend gen when I saw my “neighbor” walking towards us.  We’re not exactly neighbors like we live next door to one another.  We just live in the same neighborhood, that still counts as neighbor right?  That’s what I think. haha!  Anyway, she finally reached us.  I was talking to gen and had to stop to introduce her.  It was unethical not to introduce them to one another.  I was like: “Ay friend ko pala si gen…” Damn I forgot her name!  They shook hands but gen told me over the phone that ms. neighbor was reluctant to shake her hand and she just had to squeeze her hand instead.

I turned my back and continued to talk to gen but I think she wanted to strike a conversation…  for the record- I am not a nursing student!!!  People always think I’m taking up nursing ‘coz of my white uniform!  The mere sight of blood makes me want to faint.  So I patiently explained that I’m always mistaken as a nursing student.  I proudly showed my id strap that says ekonomista.=) She also asked me what school do I go to.  I answered ust.  I said most of the uniforms in ust are in white even if it’s not medical-related like nursing and that only few like archi, cfad and eng’g wear uniforms that are not in white.  Across the street were four eng’g students and I pointed them to her.

Finally an fx came and our conversation was interrupted.  I thought it would finally end.  Oh my gosh!  She continued to talk…  she asked me if ust’s big.  Is she serious? I mean come on, it’s one of the best universities and she doesn’t even know?!  Where was she from, pluto? I tried to be nice and said in a monotone: “hmmm…steady lang.”  She kept on blabbing like those eng’g students were conversing in english.  I just said that they’re just being “pa-sosyal”.  I don’t know if they’re really like that but most students in ust speak in Filipino.  I remember my communications prof said before that one factor we’re “overshadowed” by other schools is ‘coz we don’t speak english as often like other students from other universities. haha! Then it hit me!she was k ann.

She finally fell silent and popped her earphones…next thing I knew was she was singing with gusto…in an fx!  I was being nosy and read her messages when she was texting.  Mind you, she was texting in pure english.  Not that it was a big deal for me.  I’m used to texting in english but of course it depends with the person I’m texting.  It was just a shock ‘coz I’ve seen her during kiddo days-we were busmates!  Also, not that I’m being an airhead or something, but she came from a not-so-good college.  Okay, after this blog I’m going to be branded as a mean girl but the hell I care.  Anyway, here’s a part of her message to whoever: i wud hve 2 b hard 4 u 2 show me dt u luv me… huwaaaat?!!!  Another message was: hi dz is kamile…  Now she goes by that name huh?  Well I guess she finally realized that k ann’s an awful name.hmmm… no offense meant to whoever that’s k ann too.

I have seen her in her lousy days and man it was…err lousy?haha!  I know where she came from…and I think, does she really have to try that hard? I can’t elaborate things anymore or I’ll end up as the queen bee-leader of the mean girls.  I was laughing my head off when gen and I talked over the phone about this.  =P  I haaate phonies.  Just be real puhlease…’til my next encounter with kamile.haha! laughtrip! =)
p.s tagalog ung usapan namin…kasi binabagayan ko siya.
un pala si bronson siya sa text.ahaha!=P

flashback of the good old days... =)

I went to my second home, my school for twelve grueling years, Ann Arbor Montessori-BF last Wednesday.  I didn’t have school ‘coz it was the Feast of the Black Nazarene.  I met up with dawn and my best friend tonti to get our yearbook (at long last!).
It was a different feeling being finally back home.  It wasn’t much of a home anymore for me.  The ambiance is totally different from the time I left the school gate almost three years ago. =(  Maybe I’m just getting old that’s why I feel that way.  Things were different during my time.  Generation gap might be making its way on me.  I don’t know if we didn’t mature or the kids in school mature fast and caught up with us?
While I sat at the cafeteria, I remembered a lot of memories:
1.the times that we would literally grab all the tables and chairs and eat as one big group. =) we even had complaints regarding this matter.
2. the times when we would have a couple rounds of duck walk as punishment. =P
3. missing the best food ever catered in school-tita mye’s luto and I had the luxury of eating I want on her menu as I had my listahan.
4. sneaking up in the roof top with some gal pals and just chill.  We did this almost everyday during our sophomore year until we got busted!
5. tiring practices and bonding after. =)
6. gate duty during CAT (provoked someone while on duty…tsk tsk!)
7. CAT meetings during Mondays (you feint a major migraine to escape…never worked on me ‘coz I was an “officer” and had to be tough)
8. intrams baby! =)  everything about it
9. “akyat-bahay” inside the highschool building =P (‘twas curfew time and they locked it up with all our school stuff inside!) was it our fault the practice ended late? hmph!
10. having fun with everyone =)

Those are just teasers of my high school life.  There are a million more things in high school that I truly treasure up until this day. =) It may have been a different place now but the feeling of its warmth remains.  I dreaded entering college ‘coz I’m going to be away from the life I was so used to.  Being separated with friends was hard for me but no distance could ever get in the way.  Some close friends seemed to drift apart but majority is still intact.  Looking at my yearbook made me realize that time really does fly with out you noticing it.  Back in high school, I thought that my shoulder-long hair was pretty long already and that I was soooo cool.  I was very active in school.  Then I realized now that eeeek!  What a phase!  I was so shallow with stuff back then.  I never imagined I could be better and that’s big thanks to the jungle I feared before—college.  Now, that’s for another blog. =)  ‘til then… =)

yearender partey at laiya with fellas...=)

i grabbed this from a fella's site superduper late but the hell i care...got a bit smashed that night...nyahaha!won't happen ever...=P

bowl baby bowl! =)

Jan.03, I went out with a couple of my fellas to play bowling at festi.  So what if I resumed classes that day and that I have school the next day?  Really, I was sort of getting sluggish to go to nikki’s (meeting place) ‘coz I so wanted to sleep (didn’t get enough the night before) but before the force is too strong, I went there shortly after I got home from school. As always superduper late ang mga tao.  We went to festi around 6pm. I said I won’t be going anymore but what could I do if I had five friends who’s going to exert all effort just so I would go.  So fine we went and played.  The experience was fun. ÜÜÜ  Just don’t ask how bad I played. Haha!  Jus a little tip:  roll the bowl (haha!)  After our game, we went to Mcdonald’s alabang to eat and finally dashed off.  Got into a little trouble ‘coz I got home 9.30pm instead of 8pm plus of the factthat I have school the next day.  But I didn’t mind that, ‘coz whenever I’m out with my fellas, nothing would ever compare to the worth of fun I get.  Ü ‘tl the next tie we roll the bowl guys! =)

p.s
driver was able to kidnap my dear lj…yey! Ü

’07 had been an extreme ride.  I have felt a lot of emotions and let me give you an insight of 17 whatevers I truly enjoyed the past year. =)

  1. still mr. smiley—I started ’07 still crushing on mr. smiley until he got himself a girlfriend! hmph!
  2. pre-com no more—finally finished my pre-com. Sad to part ways with the best block ever. Ü
  3. missing my senior friends to hell =( —with them on their graduating year, less time to see and hang-out with them that’s why I terribly miss them.
  4. getaway, getaway and more getaways!—had the best getaways! ÜÜÜ went to calatagan, puerto galera and boracay with my oh so wonderful fellas. Ü

  6. home sweet home— my great buddies brotha and baru went for a visit here in pinas. ÜÜÜ if only they stay home…
  7. june and july gimmicks =) — with brotha and baru here, the crew couldn’t help but go out most of the time even if there was school. haha!
  8. uaap fever— all-hyped up ‘coz we’re the host school.  we may not have defended the title but thomasian prid lives on. Ü

  10. mr. sesame— had been noticing him since first year but never really took it “seriously” not until a dear friend helped me out. haha!
  11.  torpedo— I wasn’t the “stalker-type anymore” but I wasn’t the friendly one either.
  12. friends oh friends—having different majors made it a bit difficult to bond with friends but we manage.  My fellas are all busy that’s why I thank technology for easy communication.
  13. game of my life— never thought I’d sweat like that for a volleyball game ever again. Ü guess I can’t totally turn my back to it.
  14. thesis mania— unleash hell through thesis.nuff said.
  15. my heart got poofed— guess invested too much emotion on someone who was not even feeling any interest on me. oh well…
  16. alcohol-free no more— celebrated baru’s debut so I gave-in to her “request” to drink a bit.  Next was nursing a bruised heart and got over my limit. Must remember the lesson learned ‘coz I don’t want any hang-over ever again!
  17.  my one-of-a-kind birthday celebration— had pseudo-camping and barbecue fest and for the finale was look-for-clues game for my birthday surprise!ÜÜÜ
