shockaroo!

Last tuesday, we were having our public sector economics class, everyone seemed to be drifting apart when something made us snap back to reality.  The seats were swaying and no one was moving it. Those who were in front thought that the people behind them were causing all those movements.  I looked up at our hanging projector case and it was also swaying.  Panic started but the prof stayed calm.  Even lax and still managed to joke around!  The alarm went off signaling everyone to vacate their rooms. She even asked the president to verify. Panalo di ba?? Students flocked outside the building and scattered all over quadri. The quake made my head ache.  After 30 mins. or so,  students were sent back to their classrooms.  Our prof wasn’t around anymore and so we just bonded (see previous blog).  It was just intensity #3 but it caused major panic.  Some of my blockmates didn’t even feel it!  Ang lupit eh.haha!  ‘til then…=)

in the name of camaraderie…nyahaha!=P

This blog’s been a bit late but what the heck?! Despite the terror that thesis started to unleash last week, our block managed to have fun. =) Oh well, haggard na nga kami sa thesis malungkot pa kami.  ‘Twas eco month and so a lot of activities were lined up.  One of which was the street dance competition.  I dunno how the hell I got involved with that but that’s what happened.  I just told my blockmate before (eydri) that I wanted to join the cheering squad for ecosoc next year.  I didn’t realize she would take it seriously.  So she sort of bugged me and gen all week last week. The deal was we’ll join IF we get our working title approved.  It was already thursday when it was approved.  So we had to dance. For crying out loud, it was street dance!  I don’t mind as long as superduper patient ng mentor.  Boy I’m glad they were superduper patient with me.Ü  I love to dance, I really do but the thing is, it doesn’t love me.haha!=P So from thursday morning until friday night we were busy practicing for the competition.  Competition’s on a saturday.  We even had school stuff to squeeze in between that. You could tell I was soooooooo tired.  Come competition day, we did alright.  Some even say we did great.  Not bad for a short span of preparation and all.  We’ll be back stronger next year. Ü Rumor has it that had it not been for the deduction we would’ve won a spot.  Oh well…there’s always a next time. =)  The next day, was the ecolympics.  It was a sunday alright but I still had the energy to go and play. Majority of the block attended and were game. =) We almost had it, making to the semis but always fell short for the finals.  Grabe naman kasi natatapat samin…mga super power eh!  So for that, see you next year. =P  It’s just great that finally our block’s getting close. Ü During first sem kasi kanya-kanya talaga.  Ngayon naman may ganun pa rin pero at least we hang-out as one especially yung mga times na kailangan talaga.  More bondings to come guys.  3E3 I love thee!hahaha!=P ‘til then…

p.s.
some of us even had lunch together
over at icebergs at timog..=)

camping like no other…=)

Two weeks before my natal, my fellas and I had this idea of having a camp-out.  It was originally, a slumber party.  We had one problem though…nikki’s never allowed to join in any slumber party.  So we were thinking what possible plan could fit nikki in.  Then it hit us! Why not have the slumber party in her place??  Ever since they transferred there, the gang made it as one of the official tambayan.  Her family’s used to us being there.  It actually feels like home.  It is. Ü We also made it a camp-out party for fun.  Plan was we’d sleep in tents and cook our food in bonfire. (or at least in charcoal!)  I had to text several times to people asking if they’re going and thankfully only few replied!  I even bugged a couple of fellas to surprise me and syd.haha!  They were saying we wouldn’t get one from them!  Come my birthday, I was all set for the camping, I was just waiting for the go signal from nikki to go there ‘coz she’s not yet home daw.  It as almost 10 pm when she texted.  Pap even commented not to have that kind of gimmick ever again ‘coz siya daw yung napapagod sa paghatid!  Anyway, I got there and some fellas were already there.  I even joked to give the surprise a little later so as to have thrill naman.  We had a bbq fest.  Kami nagluto! =) The night wore on and more fellas came. Ü We were causing so much noise that we woke tito ed up!  I had to maintain silence every time we got noisy.  It felt like high school again. We had drinks.  We’re getting older and I guess it’s quite okay to drink now.  It was cocktail anyway. I don’t really drink beer. We dropped diane off at around 2am.  When we got back, my chicas pulled me in front of the main door and something was there.  It was a scavenger hunt! I like! Ü  Good thing I brought my flashlight with me. (camping mode talaga!)  My world was still swaying from the cocktail I had, but I was game nonetheless.  The questions were about syd since we’re the celebrants.  The “looking for clues” stuff was awesome. Ü I knew there were candles involved ‘coz when I got in the second floor, I sorta smelled the smoke it was emitting plus there was a different kind of glow.  When I got my last clue, on my way to the attic, I saw dawn, nikki and kath there with their surprise!  It was sooooooo fantastic! ÜÜÜ  I knew that there was a surprise but I wasn’t expecting that kind of surprise.  It was soooo sweet.  It’s a sad thing that syd didn’t make it.  A gazillion thanks for making my birthday special again. Ü  For the record, we didn’t sleep in a tent, nor did we have a bonfire.  It rained and no one had a tent!  We slept in the entertainment room and had mattresses.  I slept in a sleeping bag para kunwari camping pa rin.  My gosh!  Driver’s snored big time!  We slept for I guess just an hour and then brotha dropped a call.  My birthday just keeps getting better and better each year.  Next year ulit ah. =P

thanks to everyone who remembered
the day I came to be. Ü

It's been a dream to have this wonderful toy ever since I was 12.  My mum told me I was old for it then...but I still want one until now.  And she still believes I'm way too old for it especially now!  But no one's too old fro anything.  Color would do.  I don't need the DS version or whatever.

6. basketball
I love sports.  Personal fave is volleyball (if you don't know that, what are you??haha!)  I don't have my own basketball yet so you could get me one so I could shoot hoops more.  Perhaps you could even play with me.haha!=)

7.  boardshorts
For summer.  It's never too early for stuff you know.  Plus it's off-season so I guess it's quite cheaper now than it is during summer.  One that's just below my knee for a change ( you know I've got lots of short shorts).  Plus I'd feel I'm "covered" when I'm strolling in the sand.

8. great cd
One that's got a happy, bouncy vibe.  You know what I mean.I'll like it whatever it is anyway.=)

12.  scent from bench
I forgot the name but I know you know what I'm talking about.  It smells like baby powder.haha!

13.  cute flippies
Another pair wouldn't hurt.  I don't care about the brand as long as it's cute.  Add comfy to that.=)

How?? I won't tell. Thought I'd make it that easy eh??I'll leave something for you to ponder.

There's a gazillion other things you could get me. It could be super expensive ( I don't want that unless you're a hotshot) or it could only cost you a peso.  It's not about how much but rather the thought.  There's a lot of things money can't buy and getting me those would be better.  It's really the thought of remembering the day I came to be...=) Don't you forget.haha!'til then...=)

seafood fest, yummy dessert and one crazy ride...=P

Over the weekend, my fellas and I decided to have one last hurrah for the sembreak before we go back to the battlefield errr, I mean school.  Anyway, we were getting impatient 'coz we were waiting for nikki and wongki...  Finally, they were done and so we picked them and we were jampacked in driver's car.  Good thing he brought big brother ( unpimped rav), and so taong likod kami nila tuki and naj.  We were supposed to fo to serendra but thought what the hell are we going to do there.  Next place was libis...because we had limited time (all the chicas were cinderella) we decided to go somewhere near instead.  We went to seaside in macapagal.  Some of us went to the market while the others waited for a table.  It ate a lot of our time but what the heck??  Shrimps baby!=)  Thank heavens they didn't order any crustaceans in driver's term...haha!  The only seafood I eat is shrimp and two kinds of fish..I know I'm a loser but I just hate the smell of crab!Kain galore talaga parang nasa death sentence kami!Guess what?  After our super heavy dinner, we still managaed to grab a yummy dessert i icebergs over at blue wave!  yumyumyumyumyum delicioso!=)  We were rushing back home, 'coz mg's got to be home before midnight.  As in dapat 12 she's at home.  We were laughing our heads off, 'coz harurot na si driver and garbe na magturn!  We freakin' forgot it was El Shaddai!  My goodness!  Driver so wanted to cross the island but we chicas screamed no!  Gusto pa ng adventure eh.  We took a U-turn and headed for multinational and took the sun valley route.  We exceeeded our curfews (yes, we do still have it!) but hey! We got caught in traffic and it wasn't a darn alibi.  Ayos! Tulog na daw lahat when mg got in.  So that was our last shot before 2nd sem starts...See you soon guys! 'til then...=)

me, myself and i

I love being around people that I am most comfortable with─ my family and friends.Ü I’m not into big crowds either.  What matters to me most is the presence of the people I love most.  I can’t imagine life with me, myself and I.  I guess that’s just how I am built.  I am a friendly snob. haha!=P  Put it this way, I am really a snob but just approach and talk to me and I’ll start to blab away.  As long as I get a good vibe with a person, I do talk.  Picturing myself alone is like imagining losing my sight! That’s how bad it is.  Exactly a week ago, I had a misfortune to “go blind”─ be all by myself. haaay!=s  I went to boracay alone.  Okay, I met my friends there but boarding the plane alone, traveling alone with no one to talk to is pretty sad.  Thank heavens yung mga kasabay ko mababait.=) I think they were startled with the fact that I was traveling alone.  Kala ata nila minor ako!hihi!=P So ‘di naman napanis laway ko.haha!  Ayoko talaga mag-isa.  I even included that in 17 things I must do before I turn 18 last year but I wasn’t able to do it. So that experience should do it.  Solitude will never work for me.  A one-shot deal should be more than enough.haha!’til then…Ü

p.s
thanks to you guys
for always being around…
you know who you are.=)

dora in bora…=P

After the lonely trip from the airport to the bangka, I’m finally in bora!Ü  Such a lovely paradise.  It was love at first sight for me.  I love the beach and bora is one fine beach baby!=) I unloaded my stuff, took a breather then changed into bikini and hit the…resto!haha!  Kala niyo beach no??  We were hungry from all the travel so we had to eat first.  Then after eating, we strolled in the sand for hours taking pictures and enjoying the place.  We slept early that night probably ‘coz we were tired from the trip.  Next day was janelle’s natal.  qtie asked me to wake her up when the clock ticks 12 to greet janelle.  I did wake her up…three times!  She budged up a bit and that was it!  So I just rolled back to sleep. We had one helluva ride with flyfish! Ayoko talaga kaso wala na silang mahatak na iba kaya sige na.  The gang’s super laughtrip, ang kulit kasi ng mga hirit and antics ni mang jero.=P We had island-hopping on our agenda that afternoon.  Ang layo na namin when the rain started to pour…bigtime!  Ano naman laban ng bangka sa giant waves?!  Mind you, yung mga lifevests parang improvised tipong ‘di kami masasalba.  Sabi namin balik na lang sa shore tapos tuloy na lang next morning.  Whatta adventure!  We had dinner at a Mongolian restuarant─ eat-all-you-can, treat ni janelle. I think we did a good job in eating.haha!  Laughtrip pa yung kumakanta kasi lappy birthday to you??  Ganun nya kinanta! We were well-fed but still had room for jonah’s shake baby!=) yumyumyumyumyum delicioso! Natural talent kung natural talent eh.  We were looking for cocomangas but we reached fridays already and still didn’t find it.  So we asked.  Yun pala nasa main road.  Na-shock kami sa place so we decided sa club paraw na lang.  Cocktails for the pretty ladies please.whew! sarap.Ü Two guys sat down with us.  Next topic please!haha!  Walang tulugan blues…pagdating ng island-hopping  kahit five secs. of  nap eh pinatulan namin!  I found nemo.=)  Indeed, it’s a different world down there.  We went to a cave and I was imagining cody maverick surfing.haha!  It was an ultimate getaway from all the hustle and bustle in the metro.  I’ll be back there…next week.kidding! ‘til my next bora getaway.Ü
